Who can see photos guests share at a wedding?

In a private wedding gallery, the people with its link can see the photos, which usually means the guests and the couple. It's private rather than secret, so a guest can pass the link on, but search engines are told not to list it.

Set up your wedding

Guests get it from the QR code on the tables. Anyone a guest sends it to can open it too, so treat it like a private party, not a locked room.

What’s never public

  • Every page of our galleries tells search engines not to list it.
  • There are no public profiles, and guests don’t need an account. A name is optional.

What the couple controls

  • Hiding any photo from everyone.
  • A big reveal, where each guest sees only their own photos until 8 am the next morning.
  • Sharing on social media: straight away, from midday the day after, or not at all.
  • Reports: a reported photo leaves the gallery at once, unless the couple has already checked it and kept it, and the couple decides whether it comes back.

Questions

Can the couple hide a photo?
Yes. The couple can hide any photo from everyone, and any guest can report one, which takes it out of the gallery at once unless the couple has already checked it and kept it.
Can guests see the photographer's photos?
Yes, once the photographer releases them. Guests see a smaller copy; the couple downloads them at full size.
How long can people see them?
Our galleries stay open for a year after the wedding. Then they close and the photos are deleted 14 days later, apart from the couple's favourites and the photographer's photos, kept for the couple.
